It's close and its the perfect stroll for an outdoor adventure.
Whether it is winter or summer time, Saxapahaw is a must add to the to go list. After a cold winter hike warm up in Cup 22 with some hot coco!
In the spring time and summer Saturdays here are the hype. Free music and an incredible farmers market will fill your day with happiness, cute dogs and kids, and lots of good good food.
If you are looking for a quick get away for the day or morning, or hey, even the afternoon, whatever floats your boat then get some friends together and come stroll through Saxapahaw. They have multiple trail loops, all within .5 miles to 2 miles, but with easy access to combine and add onto the hikes to lengthen them. With a little creativity and adventure, you could spend hours out there on the trails. Plus, this is huge, they are SO dog friendly, which is always a great sign.
Another great thing about Saxapahw is not only is the outdoor culture there welcomed by all, but the town is built on supporting locally owned and produced products. So not only are you improving your day by getting outside, but you are also improving the lives of others if you go to Cup 22 or The General Store after your hike to caffeinate yourself or eat some AMAZING food!!!
