A great winter time outdoors activity that can be found near us is skiing or snowboarding! Whether you are a veteran or a beginner skiing or snowboarding is a great and fun skill to practice.
In our most recent skiing and snowboarding trip, a group 14 went to Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia. They stayed at one of the resort's cabins but there are always other housing options including camping. West Virginia is not short of skiing destinations. With some small research you can find a suitable mountain within 3 to four hours of campus. Planning this type of trip would be ideal for long weekends over J-Term or even fake break.
